A professionally prepared survey and valuation report can help you reach an informed decision on the purchase of your home. Commissioning your own survey is a simple, cost effective way to avoid unpleasant and perhaps expensive surprises.

• The survey may also help with the negotiation process for the purchase of your property.

• Mortgage lenders often require the borrower to pay for the cost of a valuation.

• This is not a substitute for an inspection by your own surveyor for your own purposes.
